Watchlist 11.12.10 What the HLYS!

Thursday reminded me of a 100 degree  July afternoon. The Veterans Day holiday was a real snoozer. I should have just called it a day but I got caught with my hand in the cookie jar with LLNW. I don’t regret the trade but  I had a small profit on the table and and let that slip away thinking it was going to tank. Bad move but that’s over with and I will short LLNW again. Today I want to focus on HYLS and a few others. I’m looking to  catch some noobs overbuying stocks and score up a Friday delight. You are either with me or against me, preferably with me!

HLYS

How bad is your company when your quarterly earning are in the crapper and your stock goes through the roof. Welcome to the low expectation world of wheeled footwear. You read that right they make wheeled footwear I honestly though that trend was over. My rules for earnings plays are to let them run for a few days but this stock probably won’t make it. I’m shorting this.

XIDE

Some positive paper on this but the chart is in the sweet spot of a breakout. It’s a slow mover but it remains consistent and traders like to load up on the breakouts. Not a short candidate but probably good to buy on strong volume and price action.

SCOK

Yes SCOK is back after it’s sell off it moving up. Chinese coal was the heat Thursday so we will see if this can bounce from the open to late afternoon. I know many subs are long this as a swing. Congrats to those patient enough to hold through the pull backs.

LLNW

It looked awesome, the pattern was perfect and the spikes were nill. I pulled the trigger the stock starts to tank but then goes flat. All of a sudden POW! right to $8 I shouldn’t say pow it was slowly inching up. That’s why I should have reduced my loss. Anyway, I hope it goes up some more so I can short it again.

LNG

Bullish all day. Don’t know much about it here but it looks like the action will continue higher tomorrow When it’s done I will short if the chart looks right.

Other to remain watching

URRE– Up day = short. Thursday was too choppy to jump in. We will see on Friday.

NNVC– Completely fooled me thought it would not go to 1.50 let alone 1.60. Does it have 1.70?

PEIX– May breakout but this is a sketchy company at best. If it goes above $1 I’ll short.
