Stock Watch 10.4.11 ” Short Stocks Got no Reason”
Randy Newman’s 1977 song “Short People” had a lyrics that said ” Short People got no reason to live” . This song was widely misunderstood as it was in reference to a lunatic and not an actual short person. Even though I stand a towering 5′ 6″ tall I always liked that song. You certainly couldnt get away with lyrics like that now but in the late 70’s it was good enough for Kermit the Frog to sing it on “The Muppet’s. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NvgLkuEtkA
Anyway, I have redone the lyrics to .”Short stocks got no reason to be bought” There are some stocks that under no circumstances should ever be bought . They should just be shorted when some other fool buys it.
