“A great leader must have character and strength but if you must lack one lack strength” This was a quote my old martial arts teacher Peter Lee used to say all the time. He always would tell us that as we got older the things we would be most proud of are the things we did for others and not ourselves. This guy was a living example of that. His whole life centered around his love of martial arts. He taught every style Hapkido, Kung Fu , Brazilian Ju Jitsu and Tae Kwon Do. He was in his early 60’s and trained like an animal , rode his bicycle 20 miles to the gym everyday and fought every person who every walked in his doors no matter what their age. Peter believed in what he taught and wanted everyone to know that. I haven’t seen him in years but he is probably 75 yrs old by now and and still whooping the tails off 20yr olds every day.

I could go on forever about how Peter influenced me but let me get to the point. The point is believing in your passion and teaching it to others.
