Stock Watchlist 12.31.10. “Goodbye 2010”
2010 has come to a close and Monday we begin a new year and a fresh start. Not only is it the end of the year but the end of a decade. A decade that started out with fear of our banking system collapsing because of Y2K ( remember that) only to collapse 8yrs later because of credit. The decade started out with a massive rally from tech stocks and ended with a rally, hmmmm. I think this decade will be remembered by the 2 market crashes and the terrorist attack on our country. Most of all we will remember our resiliency as people to recover through some of the most challenging times.

Watchlist GSI SSN SCOK CHINA PSID
Previous Watchers: All rare earth and metals.
GSI
The rare earth rally is spilling into the metals. This looks like a solid runner for tomorrow providing there is no gap down.
SSN
Looks good for a breakout above 1.42. If there is trouble in that area a short could work out nice. I see no more than 1.60 tops in the short term
SCOK
This has come off of it’s 9.50 base with a vengeance. I like this for at least a 1/2 day upside move, especially on activity above 10.50
CHINA
Anything with China in it is hot right? Another beaten down stock that broke out big from the overflow. I normally would rush in to short this but I got a feeling it runs higher tomorrow.
PSID
Has a history of folding on every bounce Maybe tomorrow there will be some early morning bounce to start a short.
