Stock Watchlist 11.16.10 “Fade to Black”
ANTS ASTM AERL LNG SKH MCP ONP MGIC
Fades come in all shapes and sizes but it’s the slow fade, which represents the “calm before the storm”, that rubs the belly of the short seller. I’ve made a living shorting stocks that are just too high and you can too. Maybe you already do. If you don’t know what a textbook fade looks like pull up a 5 minute intra day chart on ASTM. You will see what I mean. Don’t hate it. The market is giving you a freebie. Take it, learn it, love it and fade your account to black
ASTM
So beautiful today. I didn’t have the drawing tools to make an arch but look at that fade. See what happens when it takes out 3.90. Learn it.
ANTS
Looking to grab a short on this since it’s up over 100% the last few days. Will seek out any weakness to short. Preferably a few green bars to start out Tuesday and it’s game on. If a weak open I will have to judge then.
AERL
Struggling to breakout anymore and is losing touch with it’s pops. I would like to short any fades from rallies . Especially a crack of 9.50/30
LNG
Still watching this one close. Had it as a buy a few days ago and if it can roll above $5 ( as mentioned in chat ) I would tap a long but any weakness I may look to short but the chart set up would have to be spot on for me to do that.
SKH
Nice potential breakout here on activity above 6.50. The chart has been going up for a while with no significant pullbacks, so there has to be one soon. I won’t get to aggressive on long breakouts up here but it’s worth a shot. Not a short candidate yet but you never know.
MCP
Wow their earnings didn’t impress. Who saw that coming!. I’m not a perma bear but some trades need to use common sense when the lackluster companies are up huge. Mcp was crushed after hours so no particular play as it’s to low to short. There should be plenty of action in this name Tuesday.
ONP
Same as above . Junk
MGIC
Stock is a beast but has now had it’s first red day. Unfortunately I missed this one but there is plenty of downside room here. Any weakness below $4.15 could send this back to 3.50 in a flash.
