Stock Watch 8.9.11 ” Sea of Sorrow”

One of my favorite bands ever, Alice in Chains had a song in the 90’s called Sea of Sorrow. I always loved the line ” As you wallow in a Sea of Sorrow. Reminds me of the buy and holders right now. In the last 10 days the market has retraced all of it’s gains going back to September of 2010. Basically, 11 months of gains taken out in almost 2 weeks. All those perma bulls who banked on that monster September to February rally just gave it back. This is the precise reason you should learn the shorting game and abandon buy and hold strategies. That doesn’t work anymore.
