Stock Watch 8.5.11 ” F.E.A.R.”
Some of you may have heard the phrase F.E.A.R. -False Evidence Appearing Real. Panic and fear supersede greed on every level. The foolish investors who bought into the Governments sales pitch of an economic recovery, the same investors who were blabbing at the mouth during the monster market run since November are like Deer in headlights right about now. During this positive talk of an economic recovery I don’t thing the majority of Americans felt like the recession ever ended. Consumer spending is down, real estate is dead, unemployment is high and corporations have been sitting on hoards of cash for a while.
You don’t need the Government or CNBC to guide you on the state of the economy. All you need to do is pay a visit to your local small business owner and ask them “How’s business been since 2006”.They’ll tell you the truth. This market shellacking should be no surprise to anyone. In summary believe very little of what you read and hear. Pay more attention to what’s happening right in front of you. Your success depends on it.
