We get a break on Thursday to celebrate Thanksgiving. Sure, the true meaning of Thanksgiving was to celbrate harvest cycles, to give thanks for a good harvest, and to rejoice together after much hard work with the rest of the community. Now it’s just a time of year were you hang out with people you know or people you want to know and stuff your face. Then you normally visit other people you know and they stuff your face with their food until the button on your pants is ready to bust.
In true American tradition after Thanksgiving we typically complain about how we should never have eaten all that food and swear to begin dieting on Monday. However, halfway though Monday there are too many leftovers to eat and then we realize that Christmas is only 30 days away and nobody in America starts a diet in December, that’s what after the first of the year is for,right? Have a great holiday.
