Followed close to yesterdays watchlist. You can view it here. http://thelincolnlist.com/?p=739 I thought it would spike at the open but it sold off instead. This offered a few buying opportunities at 12.45 and 12.50. The latter is where I got in (12.48). Even I was impressed with the run to 13 because I thought it may have taken a day longer. Not sure the risk to reward is still there for the longs but I’ve seen these run for days, most recently look at IDT. I think if NANO stays above 12.50 it’s short term bullish but I would have to see a lot from it on Tuesday to want to buy in. Currently not a good short play.
BIOS
Still moving up after oversold conditions and insider buying. This up move is not THAT decisive to call it a “goldmine” stock with a price target of $8. There could be one more up day on this but in my opinion that will be all for this swing and a retracement is due. I will see if BIOS can make it to the 5.50 which is the next upside target if so I may short it there depending on price action
BTN
What a nice looking intra day chart on this. More importantly a very strong finish to the day sets up well for longs. The key area was 9.10 which was the high from February. Once it held that level it just kept going. I have no position in this so I will be forced to watch the price action in the a.m. and see if it will give me a reversal play like NANO. Not a short candidate for now as this is yet another earnings runner
SKH
Took off once they were not required to pay a 600+ million dollar settlement. Once the news sunk in SKH may still be required to pay millions and they are not completely vindicated SKH sold off hard to the close. Mainly because most traders do not want to hold this overnight as there is still huge risk involved. A settlement like this can easily put SKH into bankruptcy quick. I will be watching the news on this. I am not interested in buying because even if they are completely vindicated, which they wont be, the upside is limited. Very speculative play but high probability short.
