Stock Watch 1.28.11 “Drop and Pop”
Thursday the market was in a drop and pop all day. One minute the crash of the century was seconds away then the market would gain footing and bounce. Actually it was more like a pinball machine popping back and forth. Except it was molasses slow and was only a couple of points at a time. Basically, if you took the day off you missed nothing. There were some killer breakouts on CCME CRUS HAFC and more. Those stock should still be viable Friday.

CCME
Well I had this on watch 2 days ago but was taken on the shear breakout this had. I like to stay with the trend but when these stocks gap up and blow through the roof it’s hard to pull the trigger up top. I’d like to see some pull back or basing to get long. Trouble is CCME wiggles a lot so we’ll play it by ear.
CRUS
Good estimates got this going large. Cramer likes to pump this thing so that helps. I scalped some long Thursday because I was so late to the party I got stuck drinking swamp water but I made a few bucks. Just like CCME find a low rr area to get long .
CPE
CPE is re-gearing for a daily chart breakout. If the market stays wishy washy this should go higher in early trading . If we get the end of the world sell off everybody is waiting for, then a short will work back to $7
COCO
We all have our COCO. I called this to a T but my daytrader patience got the best of me. I closed out too early and missed a monster gain but I’ve done it before and I’m sure I’ll do it again. Still plenty of upside room in this.
LLEN
LLEN is a downtrodden stock. The market to go up 600 points and this thing wouldn’t go up. It littered with issues and if it can print any higher numbers this thing will slowly die. Good short opportunity here
ACAT
Good earning pop and you know how we feel on earnings players. Maybe it’s all the snow this year that increase snowmobile sales but who cares. Probably is worth a couple points to the upside on a trade.
HAFC
Booger took for pennies like a bum on the street. I know it’s an earnings runner but that’s the rik of buying a stock already up 25%. Probably should have held overnight.
