I have been trading professionally since 1998. I have traded through the dot com bust, commodity booms and the credit crisis. I have traded foreign currencies , futures, commodities and options. What a company earns or the legitimacy of their forward earnings means nothing to me when I will be out of the stock within hours.It is simply is  a waste of my time to research the CEO, profit margins, etc for a 30 minute trade. I truly believe that all known information of a company is reflected in the price of  it’s stock. It makes no difference how good the company is, if nobody is trading it it’s dead money. If buyers are present then I am a buyer, if sellers are present then I am a seller. With technical analysis I can spot these trends effectively 80% of the time and that’s what works for me. The only fundamental analysis I use is news whether it’s real or not I look to use the momentum from that news to trade.
